Mainie YAK DK - Yarn Base

This is a lovely heather gray yarn base, and when its hand dyed, the results are stunning, heathered and darker than on the other bases.

This is also a super soft, luxurious yarn.  It helps you create gorgeous hats, cowls, scarves and shawls.  It's a bit too soft for high-wear items like sweaters.

Needle Size:  US 4-6 (3.5 mm - 4 mm)

• 60% Superwash Merino Wool
• 20% Silk
• 20% YAK

Each colorway is hand dyed in small batches - be sure to order enough for your project.  Please note that there may be slight differences between skeins.  We try very hard to minimize any variation.  If you want your yarn to be perfectly matched - please buy a commercially made yarn instead.
